IMAGin is a platform dedicated to buying and selling moving images produced by independent audiovisual producers in Brazil, with the aim of boosting the use of thousands of hours of recorded and previously unused footage.
In collaboration with ICAB (Instituto de Conteúdos Audiovisuais Brasileiros), celebrating its 10th anniversary, Cronos Audiovisual S/A, in partnership with BRAVI (Brasil Audiovisual Independente), is launching IMAGin's international operation this Tuesday, at the 26th edition of the Brazilian Film Festival in Paris, in the Arlequin screening room. The initiative has the institutional support of SPCine and the Festival organizers.

The Image Bank concept aims to strengthen the national audiovisual industry, especially in a sector that is still neglected: the monetization of raw collections, built up in high quality over the last 20 years. The platform is already operating in four languages - Portuguese, English, Spanish and French - and in two currencies: the real and the dollar. Organized into thematic areas, the videos can be found and purchased through word searches ("tags") or by viewing the existing themes.
With a simple but efficient approach, producers make files available on the platform (in a cooperative system), with a minimum duration of 8 seconds to 1 minute, ranging from SD to 4K quality, following the model adopted by international banks. These images can be uploaded by the producer or editor themselves, quickly and at no additional cost. Access to the platform is via registration on the official website.
It's important to note that the entire operation, from selecting the moving images to licensing, viewing and e-commerce, to downloading the chosen file, takes place exclusively within the platform, in a secure environment and with the legal framework of authorizations for the licensor and the licensee.
The platform manages the entire process of buying and selling images, providing reciprocal benefits for producers: economic activation of collections through the sale of files and opportunities to buy at special prices for IMAGin's partner collaborators.
By commercializing their stock of images, producers not only obtain financial benefits, but also contribute to the Audiovisual Economy, creating a new monetization opportunity.
